The HBR Academic Bowl Team faced off against Depue and Indian Creek in their third meet. HBR defeated both teams, setting them at 7-1 for the season: HBR vs. Depue 260 - 0, HBR vs. Indian Creek 170 - 150. #WeAreHBR

Our Lady Royals fought hard in the sectional semi-finals. In the end, they fell to Serena 48-33. The final game of the season is always tough to walk away from, but the Lady Royals can hold their heads high. Congratulations on a great year! #WeAreHBR #RoyalPride
The HBR Academic Bowl Team faced Newark, Somonauk, and LaMoille at their second meet. HBR won all 3 matches: HBR vs, Newark 270 - 140, HBR vs. Somonauk 220 - 130, HBR vs. LaMoille 350 - 40. HBR will be home for their third meet on Thursday vs. Depue and Indian Creek.
Our Lady Royals are moving on! With a 33-30 win over Harvest Christian, they move on to Sectional play next Tuesday!

Educators Rising students from HBRHS had a terrific time supporting the HBR Elementary staff during the Valentine’s Day festivities, joining in and helping to lead the holiday activities. What a great experience for those who may be our next generation of educators! #WeAreHBR

The HBR Academic Bowl Team faced Leland, Hiawatha, and IMSA at their first meet of the season. HBR walked away with a victory against Leland and Hiawatha but unfortunately not IMSA.

HBR Chess Team won 2 out of 7 matches placing 10th among 1A state qualifying teams! We had wins against Tinley Park 60-8 and Calumet City (Thornton Fractional North) 51.5 to 16.5. We were within one win or draw of winning every match we lost. We scored the most points of any 1A team but struggled to line up the right combination of board wins to secure match victories. All players scored multiple wins with top performers being Brandon Aloisio with 4/7 on board 6, Nathan Schlachter with 4.5/7 on board 3, and Austin McMurtrie scoring a perfect 7/7 and being one of only two players at state to win all their games on 1st board. We had fun and hope to represent HBR at state again next year! #WeAreHBR
