• NEED awesome parent-community- friends to volunteer to help with set up, help during Prom Walk, & take down!
• PLEASE & Thank you in advance!
Set up crew- We will start setting up the minute high school is out on Friday May 5th around NOON! This is fun and easy!! No skills needed!
During Prom Walk- If I could have a 2-3 awesome volunteers to help during prom walk with pinning, helping kids fill out their prom sheet to be announced, and just helping the couples. 4:30-6:00
Take down crew- This will start the minute prom walk is over and goes really fast if we have the help!! It starts immediately after.
*If you have never been- this is a great opportunity to see all of the wonderful Prom attendees in their formal attire!
Lets make this wonderful for the kids! It is a great way to send them off to their PROM!

Our students also helped out at Farm Friends in Big Rock. They assisted with cleaning out the pond, planting native trees and shrubs, cleaning, and other spring tasks as Farm Friends prepares to welcome more individuals with disabilities to their programs this year. #WeAreHBR
HBRHS students helped remove invasive species from the Big Rock Forest Preserve under the direction of the Kane County Forest Preserve District. Our students worked hard, had fun, and earned multiple compliments. #WeAreHBR

HBRHS Community Service Day has students cleaning up around town, including Pioneer Park and HBRES. Some also helped with the HBRHS Greenhouse Plant Sale, which is open most days 9 a.m. until noon. #WeAreHBR
HBRHS Community Service Project Day includes knitting caps for premature babies at hospitals, creating animal play toys, sewing pillowcases for nursing homes, and building activity kits for summer camp kids at Fox Valley Special Recreation Association. Good to Give! #WeAre HBR
Students booked it to the library for Community Service Project Day! They are reorganizing and shelving books and recycling old books in the high school library before they are off to public and elementary libraries. Others are reading to elementary school students! #WeAreHBR

A huge congratulations to Jake Juneau for breaking the school record in the 400 meter run that was previously set by Jake Austin in 2006!! Not only did Jake break the school record, he also ran a state qualifying time, with a finish of 51.9 seconds!
