HBRHS enjoyed the annual Senior Sendoff Lunch with hot dogs, chips, ice cream, basketball, badminton, and just hanging out together. It was a great break in the day to transition into end-of-the-school year mode. Final exams, here we come! #WeAreHBR

Masquerade-2023 Prom
• NEED awesome parent-community- friends to volunteer to help with set up, help during Prom Walk, & take down!
• PLEASE & Thank you in advance!
Set up crew- We will start setting up the minute high school is out on Friday May 5th around NOON! This is fun and easy!! No skills needed!
During Prom Walk- If I could have a 2-3 awesome volunteers to help during prom walk with pinning, helping kids fill out their prom sheet to be announced, and just helping the couples. 4:30-6:00
Take down crew- This will start the minute prom walk is over and goes really fast if we have the help!! It starts immediately after.
*If you have never been- this is a great opportunity to see all of the wonderful Prom attendees in their formal attire!
Lets make this wonderful for the kids! It is a great way to send them off to their PROM!

Due to field and weather conditions today's girls soccer game has been canceled. We will be in communication about the makeup for senior recognition. #HBRUpdate
Our students also helped out at Farm Friends in Big Rock. They assisted with cleaning out the pond, planting native trees and shrubs, cleaning, and other spring tasks as Farm Friends prepares to welcome more individuals with disabilities to their programs this year. #WeAreHBR
HBRHS students helped remove invasive species from the Big Rock Forest Preserve under the direction of the Kane County Forest Preserve District. Our students worked hard, had fun, and earned multiple compliments. #WeAreHBR
Our HBRHS students are having fun with science, outdoor activities and reading to the elementary school on our Community Service Day! We also have student helpers working in the library to organize books! #HBRProud
