If you have driven past the schools, you have undoubtedly noticed the dumpsters and work trucks! We are in full swing with the facilities improvement projects. Secure entrances are underway at the High School & District office and the middle school cafe is opening up! If you need to stop by a school, please call first so we can meet you at the appropriate door.
Registration night! If you'd like help registering your Royal for next school year, we will be here to help Thursday the 16th from 5-7 PM and Wednesday the 22nd from 3:30-5 PM in the High school cafeteria. All families are welcome! We hope to see you there!
Last night at the April meeting, the HBR Board of Education gave a Royal Shout out to Mrs. Susan Clark and Mrs. Katie Claypool. Both of these women were recipients of the Dekalb County Excellence in Education award! They were honored and nominated by students Evelyn Murphy and Ingrid Martinez. Thank you for your service! #BeTheChange #TogetherWeAreHBR
Registration for the 2024-2025 school is now open!
Early registration helps us to better plan for next year. We are also issuing a district wide challenge. The grade with the most approved registrations by April 24th will earn a pizza party and families that have registered by May 15th will be entered into a raffle for some prizes.

We are doing a controlled burn at the far north east side of the high school fields today, (behind the softball field). You may see smoke in that area; there is no reason for concern. The Hinckley Fire Department has been notified. Thank you!
