On June 28, 2014, the HBR Board of Education met for a Board retreat in which we reflected on the 2013-2014 year, discussed ways that we can improve, and discussed goals for the 2014-2015 school year. One of the discussed areas, and a goal for the 2014-2015 school year, was to improve our communication with parents and the surrounding community. While we will never arrive and meet everyone’s preferred communication method in our multi-faceted communication efforts, we continually strive for improvement. This blog is one of the efforts in improving our communication with the parents and community of HBR.

The intent of this blog is to provide some insight into the happenings of our district from multiple perspectives. Each week there will be one blog entry, some written and some video, from the perspectives of a HBR stakeholder. If you have questions about any information shared, I encourage you to contact the building from which the blog was written to gain additional information.
